do they have to be with their own pets? many of the Blues are apart of pet rescues, and have some awesome pics with pets that they have been apart of helping them find a home
Not at all — the only criteria are that they have to be pictured with animals in some context.
Just so you know, the picture of Erik Johnson is with his dog, Gia. He also has two golden retrievers-he talked about them in one of the "Avalanche Mailbags". =)

The picture was originally on Twitter about a year ago. I pulled it from my picture collection.

Blake Wheeler's dogs names are Biggie (big white one) and Tobias Funke (little brown one). You should edit it and add it because those names are too funny not to.
